31st Annual Golf for Life 50/50 and Prize Draw!

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #000000

    1 for $5.00; 600 tickets
    5 for $20.00; 2250 tickets
    20 for $50.00; 3200 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $10,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: September 20, 2024 at 5:00:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: September 20, 2024 at 7:00:00 p.m. PDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Unit 3, 1588 Boundary Crescent, Nanaimo, BC V9S 5L5

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://nanaimohospitalfoundation.rafflenexus.com/winners on September 20, 2024.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: ndhf@islandhealth.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at ndhf@islandhealth.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

The Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation was founded on December 30, 1977 as a means for grateful patients and loved ones to support Island Health facilities. The Foundation procures vital equipment, patient comfort items and funds medical staff education to ensure healthcare professionals have the tools and resources they need to provide the best healthcare for the central Vancouver Island communities. For over 40 years, the Foundation has stewarded donations to expand services and reduce wait times for patients right here at home.
